How we compare, and where the data comes from.

1. How comparisons work

Every product in our database is mapped to a standardised set of spec keys for its category. When you compare two products, we show the shared specs side by side. The per-row "winner" is determined by an objective numeric value — higher or lower depending on the spec direction (e.g., bigger is better for battery, lower is better for weight).

2. Prices — where they come from

Official prices shown are the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) at launch. Estimated prices are calculated from the average of top Saudi retailers: Amazon.sa, noon, Jarir, and eXtra — adjusted for storage capacity, warranty, and available promotions.

3. Review cadence

Prices are reviewed monthly. New products are added within a week of their Saudi market launch. Specs are updated based on manufacturer announcements.

4. Impartiality

قارن receives no commission or sponsorship from manufacturers. There are no "featured products" or preferential ordering. Every row in the comparison table is calculated automatically from the numbers alone. We may earn a commission from some retailer links (e.g., Amazon), at no extra cost to you.
